Welcome to the BLT Tax Services website.  My name is Wendy Baker
and I am the founder, owner, and operator of BLT Tax Services.  BLT Tax
Services was established on January 2, 2001.  After over 10 years of
managing W-2 processes, preparing quarterly payroll tax returns, and
consulting for other companies, I decided it was time for me to put my
skills to work for me.

I began to build my business by first enrolling in tax preparation classes
to obtain the certification and credentials needed to prepare individual tax
returns professionally.  I attended workshops, seminars, webinars, and
college courses annually to stay updated with the constant changes in the
taxation field.  

In 2007, I became an IRS approved electronic return originator, which
enabled me to offer my customers the option to file their tax returns
electronically. I am partnered with Santa Barbara Bank so that I am able to
offer my customers the benefit of refund transfers and in the near future
refund anticipated loans.  I continue to utilize my accounting, payroll, and
benefits background to provide premier service to my BLT Tax Services
customers and so that BLT Tax Services stands above the rest.
I have been in the taxation business for a number of years and I take
pride in my work but most of all I like doing what I do.
